Introducing Seamless Interview Scheduling

Caregivers can now book interviews with your agency in just a few clicks—no more phone tag, missed calls, or scheduling delays.

Next week we’re rolling out a major update to the Ona platform: Seamless Interview Scheduling, a faster and smarter way to connect with caregiver candidates.

Whether your team prefers phone interviews, in-person meetings, or a mix of both, you can now set up your availability once—and let candidates schedule interviews directly based on your preferences.

🔧 Set your interview preferences once

We've added a new Interviews page to your Agency Dashboard.

There, you can:

  • Select the days and times your team is available to interview

  • Choose your preferred format (phone or in-person)

  • Set your interview duration (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes)

This setup ensures that every candidate receives the right scheduling link based on your team’s true availability—no back-and-forth required.

🔗 Caregivers book their own interviews

Once you shortlist a caregiver, a custom scheduling link is automatically emailed to them. They pick a time that works for both sides, based on your preferences.

This means fewer dropped candidates, reduced time-to-hire, and more confident scheduling—for both you and the caregiver.

📅 Automatic confirmations and reminders

Both you and the caregiver will receive instant confirmation emails once the interview is booked. We’ll also take care of the reminders:

  • Caregivers receive reminder emails 12 hours and 2 hours before the interview

  • Agencies receive a reminder email 2 hours before the interview

No more no-shows due to miscommunication or forgotten times.

🔁 Need to reschedule? It's easy.

You can view, reschedule, or cancel upcoming interviews directly from your dashboard. If you need to reschedule, you can do so in one click.

What’s changing about Shortlisting?

Starting now, Shortlisting a caregiver automatically triggers the interview booking flow. This means it’s more important than ever to have your interview preferences set up. Sign in to your dashboard to get started.
